Nanomaterials Chemistry research head is dr. Liis Seinberg and current projects are as follows:
From this year Nanomaterials Chemistry group is focused on novel nanomaterials synthesis and their, physical and chemical properties characterization and functionalization to improve their biomedical and catalytic applications. Also the group has animal test permission to carry out in vivo experiments with rats at Tartu University Animal Center. The group also collaborates with industry and has several ongoing projects.
The research group works closely with the Materials and Solid State Chemistry group is lead by Prof. Hiroshi Kageyama at Kyoto University and Electrochemistry group is lead by Prof. Richard Compton at Oxford University.
Finished projects here.
