Structure of NICPB

The structure of the NICPB can include scientific, administrative and economic units.

Scientific units currently include laboratories of bioenergetics, chemical physics, environmental toxicology and laboratory of high energy and computational physics.

The management bodies of the NICPB are the director and the science council.

The director is elected on the basis of the results of the public competition by the science council of the NICPB.

The science council is a collegial decision-making body of the NICPB, consisting of 19 members.

An advisory role is given by the Statute to an international science advisory board (SAB).

Concrete scientific research is divided into strategic research programmes.
