Mutagenicity assessment by the Ames bacterial reverse mutation test using Salmonella typhimurium strains TA97a, TA98, TA100, TA102 and TA1535 (OECD 471).
Antimicrobial efficiency tests:
Antimicrobial susceptibility testing: bacteria or yeast growth inhibition tests (ISO 20776-1, EURL ECVAM DB-ALM Protocol No 33), respectively.
Antimicrobial efficiency testing of hard surfaces samples in dark, indoor ambient or UVA irradiation (modifications of ISO 27447 and ISO 22196).
Mammalian toxicity tests in vitro:

Nanoparticle physico-chemical characterisation and quantification of metals:
